Dying is Quicker and easier than falling asleep? Yes and No.im also a HP fan but had a bad feeling about this quote as soon as I heard it. It is very dangerous (Be honest with yourself, how kin do you think someone/a kid would be ready to commit suicide...?))

If you are hit by a speeding bullet or the Voldemort death spell yes it is fast, but not if you are drawning in water or trapped by fire in a building

Point taken. However, Harry Potter are fiction stories that would be classified as fantasy. With that said - the books, nor the movies are a hundred procent realistic. I think that everyone watching the movies or reading the books knows that a spell like ”avada kedavra” can’t kill someone. But in the stories it can. There’s many things in the stories that’s not true in real life. And I think that if children or other people with thoughts of commit suicide knows that it is painful to kill themself, but if they came to that decision, I think they have experienced pain and know what it’s all about. No one in their right minds glorifies death.

You do have a good point though - it is many young people watching these movies and reading these stories. But I would claim the opposite - this quote was good! Because even though Harry gets the answer one that facing death probably wish to hear - he still choose life. He never gives up. That’s what J.K Rowling’s books are about. A boy that faces death often, that struggles at home and get bullied... he ”should” have given up a long time ago - that’s what makes him uniqe. He doesn't. Time after time he choose to struggle - because that’s what life is about. Never giving up. Dying is the easy way out. It may hurt in the moment but then you'll never feel pain ever again. Living on the other hand is much harder, you will probably feel pain over and over again. But you will also experience true love - if it’s from family, friends, a lover... And if you once have experienced that love as Harry did from his parents, but also from his friends - you know that life is worth living for and there for also worth struggeling for.

P.s Who are you? :) And how did you find your way to my blog? Thanks for your comment - I appreciate your point of view.
